Begin your Christmas adventure this weekend in Bournemouth with a ride on the illuminated ‘Big Wheel’ from the Pier Approach and enjoy a birds-eye view of the enchanting Bournemouth Christmas Tree Wonderland Trail 2019 in the Lower Gardens.
As the skies darken and you make your way towards Bournemouth’s beautiful Victorian Lower Gardens you’ll find yourself in a magical Christmas wonderland – this event is free and great for the whole family to experience the lower gardens lit-up with over one-hundred glittering trees!
There is plenty to enjoy including the ice rink and Moguls Bar, the Alpine Christmas Market stalls in the Square and the Alpine Lodge bar where you can enjoy a delicious treat or festive tipple.
At the heart of the trail is the stunning Bournemouth Wonderland Tree which towers over the gardens at an impressive 60ft and individually decorated with 30,000 lights. Make sure you catch the music and light shows – you won’t be able to resist getting into the Christmas spirit!
